Material Truth
Why uPVC?
Not all plastic is equal. uPVC is the most thermally efficient, durable window frame material on the planet.
Overview
uPVC — unplasticised polyvinyl chloride — is the dominant window frame material in Europe for a reason. It conducts heat 1000 times more slowly than aluminium, never rots, never warps, and is fully recyclable at end of life.
Modern German-engineered uPVC is not the cheap vinyl of the 1980s. It is a precision-extruded, steel-reinforced, UV-stabilised engineering material with a 50+ year service life.
